Gratitude Thoughts

Many of us have suffered losses this fall on many different levels. Yet, God provides us with an abundance of blessings and comfort  through our relationships with dear friends, family, clients, and our animal friends.

Take a moment at the end of this Thanksgiving Day or in the days that follow to perform this gratitude meditation and begin a new cycle of energy to greet the upcoming winter holidays.

Meditation

Close eyes and breath deeply, exhaling fully for a count of nine.

Inhale slowly for a count of nine.

Continue breathing and as you do so, allow yourself to gather in your mind with each inhalation all the things for which you are grateful.

When you exhale, allow the sense of gratitude to float on your breath, and be carried up to the  heavens and to the highest healing power in your life.

Continue this pattern of inhaling and building gratitude, and exhaling with the intention of sending that gratitude to God for three to five minutes.

Close your meditation by placing hands, palm over palm facing inward on the lower abdomen and consciously storing your sense of gratitude.

Know that when challenges emerge in life, your gratitude is there inside of you waiting to uplift and transform all experience into positive lessons.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
