Natural Detox for Respiratory Challenges
The Chinese medicine nutritional approach to detoxifying the body is incorporating detoxifying herbs into the daily diet. When you do this, you eliminate the need to do a “cleanse” and experience many of the side effects of detoxifying strongly such as headaches or fatigue.
When the air is heavy with toxins from pollen or chemicals, treat yourself to a quick treat of the following recipes that take less than 15 minutes to prepare.
Five Minutes Cilantro Pesto
Take a handful of coarsely chopped organic cilantro and add to a small food processor. Throw in a handful of raw, unsalted almonds. Add 2 small tumeric roots peeled.
Process lightly for a protein rich pesto that detoxifies radiation, chemicals and heavy metals with only 2 tablespoons a day (although it’s so delicious you may want to eat more than that). Use over salads or sprinkle into soups. You can also top cooked green with this lovely pesto.

Can’t tolerate raw salads or have dental issues that make it hard to eat raw?
Simply stir fry the greens. Use a ceramic non stick pan or stainless steel pan lightly sprayed with vegetable oil or rubbed lightly with olive oil. Add the greens and season with fresh purple onion, garlic powder or diced garlic clove, and sea salt to taste.
Cook lightly by stirring these ingredients until the greens are lightly cooked and bright green. Sprinkle with the cilantro pesto and eat.
